For headlights does the higher the lumen mean the brighter and better the light? Thanks

lumens are units of measurement for brightness. The brighter they are , the quicker they burn out.
For me, "better" means "lasts longer"
Check the package ... they usually indicate how many hrs the lights are rated for.
