Nissan Altima opinions

I recently got a 2018 Nissan Altima SL with automatic with 48,000 miles, everyone keeps saying that its a great car but in your videos i see that you advise not to buy nissan, i really need a honest opinion about this specific car, thank you!

They are pretty good up to 100k miles. After that, you are rolling the dice on reliability. 150k is about the absolute life limit of them.

Great car in what respect?  In terms of longevity and putting hundreds of thousands of miles this is not the car for that.

They are OK cars until 100k miles the transmissions on those are time bombs take care of it now that you have it.

I have a 2007 nissan altima 2.5 sl

It has the automatic cvt transmission. 

It has 231k miles on it and I've owned it for a year now. 

I have no idea what it has been through before I bought it but in the year I've had it I've only had to replace the alternator and serpentine belt. 

Sure she burns a little oil. Sure the suspension could use some work. But I deliver pizza with this car and drive it everyday and she still purrs like a kitten lol. 

 

I have confidence that it'll make it to 300k miles.
