So I bought this nice 2015 Ford Fusion with very low miles and it has a 2.0L ecoboost I4 engine. Could you tell me if those are good reliable engines. I know people say that the 1.5L ecoboosts are piles of junk because you got a small engine with a big vehicle. Overall it’s a smooth ride if anyone could get their opinion on it please😀👍🏾
The Fusions actually aren't bad vehicles. They are basically baby Volvos and can go a long time if properly maintained. The 2.0L EcoBoost doesn't have the same issues the smaller motors do and you also aren't moving the weight of an SUV/Truck with it.
Take care of it, maintain it, and it could go 100k to 150k relatively trouble free.
I prefer the 2.5 but the 2.0 should be just fine the 2015 was 2 years after the redesign so it should be a decent car for you just take care of it.
