Hey Scotty I just bought my fiancé a 2021 Toyota Corolla with the 1.8L engine and the cvt transmission, would you say it is a reliable vehicle?

Yes. Just don't burn out from a dead stop and you'll be fine.

I've seen many Corollas with the original CVT transmission with over 200,000 miles. Just don't beat the snot out of it and actually get the trans fluid changed regularly and it should last a long time.
