You can replace them but really you have to replace them with pairs I tried to replace single ones for customers and they'd never ride right.but there are companies like suncor that rebuild them at a much lower price or if you want you can switch them over to non-aromatic there are kits for that that use struts and springs without all that complex electronics and hydraulics
