hey scotty, the air conditioning only worked for about several months and then stopped working even after we had the filter dryer replaced on my moms 2008 toyota highlander with over 210k miles what could be the cause of the issue, could it be a bad AC compressor or could it be a leaking evaporator coil?.

If the AC compressor is not turning over, then you know that your compressor is bad. Have you noticed any leaks under the hood?
