Hi Buddy, I need your suggestion desperately. I’m based in Bangladesh. I drive a Toyota Corolla X 2004 (New Shape). As off today its mileage is 132000 miles. For the last few weeks I've an issue with my automatic transmission. Each day when I start the engine the car takes long (15-20 minutes) to move forward after I press on the gas. It doesn't move forward even if I press on the gas. I keep on pressing the gas during the this 15-20 minutes period but it doesn't move forward. Then after waiting for 20 minutes it just jerks once or twice and then it moves forward. I've replaced the transmission fluid and the fluid itself as well but the same problem persists. I noticed that whenever the car is has no use and it remains at my garage for more than a couple of hours this happens again. Whereas it doesn't happen with a short period of intervals. Our local mechanics do not have any clue about it.
Sir I need your help and suggestions. Appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Thanks

Sounds crazy but I have heard that if you overfill the transmission fluid just a little bit (like .5 quart or 1 quart) sometimes it will cure this issue. Had an old jeep that this worked like a charm on... not sure if it will work on your Toyota though... good luck!
