Hi Scotty. My name is Agris, I live in UK for 15 years now. My wife and me we bought Hyundai Tucson 1.7 turbo diesel and I can not understand how to check oil level. It is written in manual to run car until normal working temperature shut it off for 5min and check the level. If you do this than level is fine but if you check the level in the morning than it is way above the full. The word is out there that no one has time to check oil in the mornings so the engeneers come up with this new way. Is this true? Thank you

Follow the instruction that you found in the manual and make sure that the car is on a level surface when you do it.
