Hi Scotty,
I am looking to buy a 2021 Ford Edge with 52,000 miles from a dealership selling it for $20,000. I know you really don't recommend Ford, but was put together in Canada. Does that matter since Canadians build car pretty good

From someone who owns a 22 edge with similar miles, don’t. Unless you enjoy spending time and money at the mechanic or having to hope you’re lucky if you can drive more than a couple thousand miles without a major component breaking.
@fishingandcarsenthusiast123 A long-defunct luxury car maker had the slogan "Ask the man who owns one". That sage advice still applies!
@chucktobias absolutely agreed 100%
That model is only available with Ford's "EcoBoost" turbocharged engines which overall have a reputation for poor reliability and longevity, and they cost a fortune to repair. In the U.S. that model has recalls for engines intake valves breaking, seat belt pretensioners not working, and failing rear axles. (Ford holds the crown for being the recall king.)

Canadian-built Fords may have been OK decades ago but I would not count on that being the case today.
