Hi Scotty.
What oil would you recommend for an inherently noisy 2007 Toyota 5.7L V8 with 300,000?
There are no records of synthetic oil ever being used in this particular engine.

You can use any oil type as long as the viscosity matches. Just make sure you change the oil frequently.
Thank you. I change the oil & filter every 4 to 5k.

I used the ATS 505CRO™ Oil System Treatment and it really quieted down the engine, the timing chain tensioners must have been carboned or varnished up enough to cause them to stick.
