Mr Scotty,

You posted a You Tube video that Honda is bringing back the Honda Element. However every query I made to Honda has returned a negative reply...they have no plans or news about bringing the Element back. Also, Honda dealers have not seen any plans for the Element showing up any time in the future. Is your video on the Element true or false?

Very Respectfully,

Aggie1974

Of course they won't tell you, it's company secret. Just watch out for news and spy shots (not rumors) of the new model.

Auto companies keep their new models as top secret as possible.

They want to sell what they are making today, and not have customers sitting around waiting for the next model.

So far, it looks like another of many rumors.  Scotty saw the same reports as the rest of us and mentioned it.

All it take is one liar with a website, or an executive to report the vehicle was "mentioned" in a meeting.

We're still waiting for those new S2000's and Legend's.

@carlos
Yep, you are correct, but Scotty is usually ahead of the curve on many car issues and rarely have I ever seen him make a mistake. I am hopeful; that time will tell he was correct.

Agree. Those cars were pulled just as they were starting to earn respect and gather a following.

For North American sales purposes, the Element is gone for good, just like the Honda Fit.

However, the great majority of the world isn't as power-mad and size addicted as Americans are, and both vehicles will continue in production for many other markets.

BTW: Did you know Honda Civic will no longer be sold in Japan, because is too large for their driving environment !
