Hi Scotty, I hope youre fine.

During these week I bring my car to my mechanic to diagnose an engine oil leak, the car have only 52.000 miles, and near the transmission was full of engine oil. Then, he clean the engine, and after two days of running the car, I bring back the car to find the leak, and he show that the leak was between the intake and the vtec solenoid. So, I asume that it was the vtec gasket, and no.. It was a leaking from the intake. So he take off the intake and discover that the intake valves was full carbonize, the same with the intake.

He told that he is going to reasamble the car and change the intake gaskets, because it is not necessary to repair the engine. He said that the engine hasnt lose power, and its ok to run it in that condition. So, I want to know If I should get rid off the car, or should I repair the head and check if is solve the problem.

The previous owner didnt drive so much the car and change the oil every 6.000 miles in a year and a half. I think this was the problem.

Thanks for the help.
