- hey scotty, i bought a 2001 honda civic automatic for 1000 bucks and after 4 days of driving, check engine light came and soon after car slowed down and everytime i pressed on gas the rpm would go up but car would not move. poured transmission fluid which seem to work for a bit. after disconnecting negative from battery it would temporarily fix the problem but it would come back after driving 1km. help as i bought it for work
Clarification: What code or codes are you getting when you use a scanner? Need that please, along with the freeze frame data.
Mileage?

Yes do post the codes you're getting that tells us a lot otherwise it's just guess
