Scotty I want to buy a 2016 Honda Civic from either private or dealership. I also want to get Carshield to protect it from breakdowns. Do auto repair shops accept Carshield?

I would stay away from Carshield or any 3rd party warranty if I were you. This is also the reason to look for a reliable vehicle in the first place (you did with the Honda Civic), so you wouldn’t need the extended warranty.

Carshield is a ripoff. Stay far away.

it's the other way around. You need to ask Carshield which shops they will accept. And read every last word of the fine print before you sign.
