Hi Scotty, I'm looking at getting either a 2024 Rav4 or 2024 CR-V. My question is has Honda solved the oil dilution problem I've read about or would I be best to stay away from Honda and go with the Rav4?

Regarding the oil dilution issue, per Scotty Honda resolved it. See below:

Other than that, if you want longer life I’d go with the Toyota RAV4; you get a naturally aspirated engine mated to a regular automatic transmission vs. a CVT transmission and small turbo charged engine found in the Honda.

Thank you for the information. I was leaning towards the Rav4 anyway, even though the 2024 isn't out yet. Thanks a lot.
