2007 Honda 4cyl 137000 AT. Motor ticking. Louder when cold. Had valve adjust. Settings and new plugs. No change.! What to do?

Well it runs okay do a compression test on all the cylinders and if they're okay as they age they often make ticking noises they're totally drivable that way
