Scotty YES I love my Honda. A mechanic told me that Hondas and Toyotas are notorious for electrical problems, is it true? Can you answer on a video? Can anyone answer...

My Honda appeared to have an electrical issue, but maybe it did not because the issue I had seem to 'go away'

Well that mechanic is an idiot they're both excellent vehicles any car can have electrical problems if abused and not taking care of where the battery or alternator aren't replaced when they start to go bad or if driven through water but Japanese cars are solid built and they're not known for problems

Thanks, Scotty!!! SO glad I didnt take the car in.... something told me to listen to my friend who said sometimes batteries do weird things, and to just keep an eye on it. New battery, no problems...even though the battery I had was new!

My 2013 VW Sportwagen TDI did all sort of crazy stuff and went into limp mode out of the blue one day, right after I drove 25 miles home from work the day before with no issues. Gave me an "engine control module malfunction" light. It was a slap-dead battery. Replaced it and it was good as new. Sold it to Carvana a week later for a stupid high price. {black}:laugh:

@SIC EM YEP! Thanks 😀

I've never heard of them being prone to electrical problems. GM is the electrical problem champion, but Honda and Toyota...not so much.

I think you'll be just fine.

@Mod_Man I do not think I will find a "Scotty" in Chicago, or anywhere for that matter. I almost dropped the car off... and for 400.00 SO glad I did not. I pulled the #15 relay out, put it back in, and it also got a new battery, not in that order. Your car is your life for CRIPE'S sake...how dare mechanics play with that and your money. Maybe if they were to become honest, they would be respected more ... like Scotty. Really dont know why my car did this, but it quit, and I seen too many times where electrical issues are just nothing once the power is removed then given back.
