Hi Scotty

I own a 2015 Nissan Murano. It has 76k on it. How long would you hang on to this vehicle? I was hoping 10 years or just before I have to change summer and winter tires. I’m worried about the CVT. This is why I’m asking. Thanks Scotty. Your the best!

So how well have you maintained it? That is the key. If you have done CVT fluid changes every 40 -50K and you are not an agressive/abusive driver your should get the life out of it. Its all about the maintanence. I have owned american cars 10 years not issues BUT with religious good maintanence.

To answer to the precise question

> How long would you hang on to this vehicle?

until is not falling apart or you have an expensive repair to do.

If you asking "How long would it realistically run?" I agree with @nick20s , 150K miles

For now, take good care of the vehicle, it might go above that mark.

I would say until about 150K miles.

Meh, if you want to hang onto it and don't want another car payment, get that CVT fluid changed. If you change fluid (no matter the brand, as much as I don't like later model nissans) it WILL last longer. Take care of it in this way and you could get a ton of life out of it. If you want a new vehicle, sell it now and get a honda or toyota 😀 😀
