Well, … I would start looking for a replacement while still driving that Sentra. That buys you a time to find a replacement car, … no pressure! That way, you most likely find a better car, cheaper, … all that stuff. Last thing is you want to do is shop while stranded!

Anyway, … is your Sentra going to last for much longer? Probably, … and if it does, you most likely get a bit more for it, … if it still running at that point in time!

DONT USE oil stabilizer, do your oil change regularly to avoid this problems.

I just changed the oil and it’s still making noise

ok make sure your cam phaser bolt is torque to spec, if you cant reach it easily, youll need to hire a mechanic, this is a big job, i would rather pay than spend more than 8 hours trying to fix it.

Ok I will check that

yeah, the last thing you want is wait 1-2 weeks, that should tell you your mechanic doesnt know what their doing, a job like this can be done in 1 day, be careful with fake mechanics because they will do the job but they wont do it right, wich is a big difference. he could just replace the part but not torque it to spec, later you find out you have the same problem. ive seen alot of mechanics do it the wrong way, thats because they dont care they just want to finish fast and you shouldnt hire a mechanic unless you really really really have to
