So I've been having a problem with my 2006 4.7 l V8 Jeep Commander where at very low speeds like stopping at a stoplight or idling and then trying to go it stalls and almost killed itself. I believe that it might be a very very very dirty fuel filter. But I don't even know where it is and I can't find any decent resources online like a diagram or any how-to video on how to change it? Is there anyone that's ever done this before that might be able to give me any tips or tricks on how to do this a little bit easier and save myself some time on my busy weekend? Also if I do take this to a shop what do you think is a reasonable price to pay and how long do you think labor should be?
Unfortunately for you the fuel filter is built into the fuel pump inside the gas tank and it has to be all taken apart. So most people just leave them alone
