Should I buy a lexus 400h Hybrid

Hello I was looking at a used 06 lexus 400h now I was wondering do the electrical systems on these mess up and if it does would it still be drivable

Depending on the mileage, they will cost a fortune to replace the battery and generator. You better off looking for a non-hybrid model.

The difference 2006 and 2021 is 15 years and you don't know whether the previous owner had changed the battery or not.

Buying hybrid especially from 15 years ago is bad idea and endless money but even if is honda or toyota. The battery and generator cost more than car. 

If buying a hybrid used always checked how many miles it had driven how old is it. Buying used hybrid is always a gamble that the reason why previous owner is trying to get rid of it. If you wanna save gas and environment get a modern car like toyota camry or Honda civic (non hybrid) and drive in ECO mod. Trust me you will be saving alot as long as your not slamming the gas
