Hybrid transmission fluid change

Hi I have a Lexus hs250h with 129k miles I was recently told to change the transmission fluid since I bought the car with around 100k and don't know if it was ever changed. When I called another Lexus dealership to ask them how much it will cost the other advisor told me not to do it because it was never done before so it might harm the transmission. What do you advise should I change it or just leave it alone? I initially was planning to change the car this year but with current prices of used cars I am thinking of keeping it couple more years

I changed my ES300h transmission fluid. It's no big deal, get the correct amount of correct Toyota/Lexus trans fluid; drain plug, fill plug. Nothing to it, just make sure you can remove the fill plug before you start draining. Here's a good video how to do it.

Find a better dealer, or better yet do it yourself

That’s interesting, because when I go to the dealer, they are always pushing me to change my transmission fluid for my Prius.

Check your owners manual. It may say to do the transmission fluid around 100K or 120K-125K miles. I’ve seen it in some manuals, but not all.
