Hyundai or change to Ram

Hello Scotty!

I was wondering if I should keep my 2014 Hyundai Veloster (base model), automatic with 218k miles, or if it is a better option upgrade to a 2021 Ram Power Wagon?

My veloster has a check engine light, apparently is the cat converter, and also it has some rattle while turning the car off (sounds like servos or somethinglike that). Some other wear an tear as interior and AC controls do not work, same as steering controls.

Thank you! 🙂

Kinda going from the frying pan into the fire.

I wouldn't own either a Hyundai or a Ram myself. Both are known for having quality issues.

Going from Hyundai to RAM is like going from nightmare to hell....

Pick your poison.

Get rid of the Hyundai. With that many mileage, it's going to start to break down. I would do some research with the RAM Powerwagon. I have some family friends who owned regular RAM Pickups and it's all been fine with them. If you really need a RAM pickup at the moment, get a Cummins diesel; plus my uncle owned two RAM Cummins trucks and he's had zero issues owning them.

With that many miles I would definitely get rid of the Hyundai. I would not however even give a millisecond of consideration to any FCA/Stellantis product.
