I really like the styling and the reviews are quite good for this year/model. I also see it has the 2.0 L turbo and all wheel drive which might help in these midwest winters. Am I crazy for liking the car? Will the repairs really be often and more expensive than say a honda accord touring (which I am also considering)?

You're not crazy. I like BMW, and I owned one as my first car. If you're mechanically apt, it might work. Otherwise, run away if you value your money and don't have an endless supply of it.

Of course. They are toys for the rich and when they do break, and break they will, they cost an absolute fortune to fix.
I was about to be positive, and tell you that at least at that mileage, it may last another 30k or so before it turns into the endless money pit that Audi always does.
My family had a in law high up in Audi, and would get "Deals" for the family. They would last a bit, then cost a significant fortune, and spend a lot of time at the mechanic, that was 30 years ago.
About 15 years ago, A co worker that I did not mention about my experience with Audi had one, said she loved it until she hit about 60k, and everything started going wrong. Same old Audi. She was then happily driving an old camry.
When I read your post, I looked up the reviews on edmunds, this lowest rated one sums it up. He hit 61k and engine blew.

Buy at your own risk, but don't plan to get a lot of miles out of it, not without spending a lot of time fixing very expensive parts.
