I mistakenly thought the front end differential was a transfer case. I put transfer case fluid in it a few days ago. I plan on changing it the next day. Will this damage the differential instantly? How many miles will I have left now before something bad happens. I put GM auto Trak II. I have a Oldsmobile Bravada 1999. Please help. I’m very concerned!

As mentioned, likely no harm done. Just drain it and correct the issue ASAP.

I'm sure your differential is perfectly fine. It was lubricated. Autotrak II is a high quality synthetic fluid. Just drain it out, put it in a bottle and save it for your transfer case. Then put in the right stuff.
