Hello again,
hyundai i20, 2009, 40000km, manual,1.2L, petrol, no codes.
Issue: Yesterdai I start the engine (at first) and let it idle for 2-3 minutes. The idle rpm remain steady at 1000rpm.In normal condition must drop to 680rpm.I wait some times but no dropping. At this moment I push the gas pedal at half and let go. After that, the rpm drops at where it shall be, and it runs ok.Please help diagnose this. Thanks Scotty or anyone else here.
Sure could be the IAC sticking. Have you already tried cleaning it? https://youtu.be/yVLJABKj5vc
How to clean iac valve without removing ? But specific to my car please.Thanks.
Sorry mate, I can’t find any videos in English for cleaning the IAC on your car.
Hello Scotty
Refer to hyundai i20 PBT1 1.2 liter petrol ten years old no codes 41000km.
Please help me interpret data read today with obd scanner elm324.
Here it is:
ECT -4 C
MAP 101kPa
LTFT -3,12%
IAT -3 C
TPS absolute 6.27%
O2 B1S1 0.45V
O2 B1S2 0.46V
CAT B1S1 -7,7 C (COLD WETHER)
RATIO (LAMBDA) target value 2
Ambient temp -8C
OBD VOLTAGE 12.0V
I am interested especially in LTFT and lambda results. The problem is that when engine is warm after a short trip and I stop it, I saw that when I fired up again after couple of minutes, it struggles to start like there is a lack of air or fuel I don't know. So please give me an proffesional answer. Many thanks and good thoughs for you and yours!
