It has check engine light on before starting the engine and after starting the engine it goes away then how can I fix it? Please tell me
Has far as I know, it's normal for the "idiot lights" to come on without actually starting the car. In otherwords, switching it to On without starting it. In my truck, the check engine light light stays on for a few seconds, then turns off. No check engine codes are stored. Seems normal to to me.
I believe its intentionally designed that way to show the bulb still works. So someone cant break the bulb and sell the car with issues that would light the CEL.
