I’m currently looking for a commuter car for work and back roughly 80mi round trip 4to5 days a week. Your opinion please 2013 Subaru Legacy 2.5i with 94,000 miles on it or 2013 Scion tC RS 8.0 with 57,000 miles OR POSSIBLY a 2013 Volvo S60 T5 with 87,000 miles....
Out of those without a doubt the Scion because its really a Toyota those other cars you listed are junk in comparison.

Either the Honda of Scion. At that point it up to you and what you like in cars and your preferences. Both are great cars that will last a long while
If it is highway for the most part, get something like a Mercury Grand Marquis, it is a smooth riding highway car that serves as my decompression chamber and the Ford 4.6 has a reputation for going 350,0000 to 500,000 miles easily. The seats are like a living room couch and gets ok mileage on the highway. My 2006 ford Focus is a miserable buzz box that I hate to drive and it gets 26 mpg, the Mercury gets 23...
