Hi Scotty, I have an 05 Rx 330 with about 170k miles and automatic transmission.
I'm having a lloud thud when shifting the car into drive and a repetitive thud when accelerating at low speeds. Also have had quite some vibration at higher speeds before this (have not driven fast since the thudding began). I replaced the engine mounts butt to no avail, was told this could be the u joints/driveshaft, any info on what else I could check? Huge fan, thank you for all you do!

Checking your driveshaft CV joints would be a good place to start. Also check condition of your wheel bearings. Hopefully it's something like that and not an internal transmission problem.
