Hey Scotty, I am considering buying an Infiniti QX56 or QX80. Either first or second gen. I looked at Autotrader and Craigslist. I’ve seen plenty used 1st and 2nd gens out their. I’ve seen plenty first gens well over 200k even close to 300k miles. What do you think of this car? I don’t intend on buying one of those with higher miles. I am still debating 1st or 2nd gen. What would you choose?
They are both pretty comparable and very nice reliable cars I would just search for your best price to mileage but you shouldn’t have any issues with it
Unless you get a really low mileage and don’t want to keep it for more than 100k miles, it can be a decent car.
They are good cars and they can be reliable if you maintain them well but the gas mileage is horrible alongside cars like the Lexus LX so expect expensive fillups. Make sure you get a mechanic to check it out making sure everything runs well and it can be a good car to drive around, carry and tow stuff.
