Hey Scotty, I am in the market for a Tundra, Sequoia, Highlander, Tacoma..... As I saw in Your video that they have problems with frame rot, How can I find out it they have been repaired or replaced already? Do I take the VIN to the Stealership and ask or drive around Wisconsin looking for a solid frame and body? Salt is an issue here. Should I go south to find a good one? Only looking for a 2WD. which years specifically are the issue? Thanks, Love your program

Go to carcomplaints.com. The information should be available there.

crawling under the vehicle may be your only option, sellers know about the issue and normally put it in their advertisement

take a hammer with you, wear your safety glasses lol

There was a Toyota Tacoma issue with Taco's built in the Fremont, Ca plant from 1995 - 2000 where not properly treated with enough undercoating that they used, and even had a buy back program for Taco's built in that plant in those years. Any vehicle regardless of make can get rusted out especially if it lives up north in the rust belt or close enough to a coastal area where the salt water atmosphere can also destroy frames.
