Hey Scotty, ive always wondered whats the biggest issues with the Dodge Ram 1500's, many people have said that issues include exhaust manifolds breaking, engines wont crank start, etc. Which years have the most and least common issues because my dad use to own a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 for 12 years and the only major problems that it had was it wouldnt start sometimes, and we eventually got rid of it in 2015 because the rear differential and transmission was torn off from trying to pull out an old rose bush.
The Tundra is a WAY better truck. Beyond comparison.

The older Ram 1500s from MY2003 and earlier were better. See below at 8:57 from Master Mechanic The Car Wizard:

Not a surprising observation, as that marked the end of the Daimler culture, and the institution of the Fiat engineering culture.

where it talks about the wrap up part of the truck, I do not agree with them as it’s a still a Chrysler, so quality is quite bad. Because of that, I would pass the Ram and get a Toyota Tundra.
for example, i drive a '19 Ram 1500, 73k miles, the check engine light just came on, Dodge says they will be glad to take a look in eight days, the other dodge dealership said fourteen days lol
glad that i dont own it 😎
broke down today with a coolant leak, left it at the dealership, 76k miles, not good
They seem to rust quicker than other brands as well.
