Scotty,
I've been following you for a couple years now and love your videos and appreciate your point of view on all things automotive. That's is why I decided to ask you a question about infrequently used vehicle care. I own a 2006 Nissan Frontier XE with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and automatic transmission which I have owned for 3.5 years. It has only 102K miles on it and I don't drive it but a couple hundred miles a year, mostly for errands to the home improvement store. I've got a cheap Hyundai Elantra that I commute to work in because I don't want to run up the miles on my Frontier plus the Elantra gets better gas mileage for my 54 mile round trip commute. My question is how often should I change the oil in the Frontier given that I don't drive it a lot. Am I harming the truck by letting it sit unused in my basement garage so much? It's a good little truck and does all that I need a truck for, but I want to maintain it properly.

Cars were designed to keep moving. Sitting stationary is not good for them. If you don't use it much, then you might think about selling it.
Anyway, change oil once a year.

100% agree with mountainmanjoe. The worst thing you can do any machine is NOT use it. Unused vehicles are also a financial drain due to insurance costs, registration, periodic smog testing, and the capital investment in the vehicle.
I'd recommend objectively considering which vehicle will best serve your actual and anticipated use, and part with the other.
