Scotty, I had an interesting situation with my vehicle in the past that I was hoping you could shed some light on. 2013 Chevy Trax, 1.4L Ecotec turbocharged engine with 6 speed automatic transmission. When I drive the car on the highway between 72-75 mph, shut it off for the night and then drive it the next day at a lower speed (around 65 mph) I get a flashing check engine light that is sometimes paired with the Stabilitrak light. It lasts for about 1-2 minutes, the car shakes sideways while driving (traction issues) and the lights disappear if I slow down further or stop, after which I can drive again without any problems. Neither the check engine light nor Stabilitrak light comes back again. I've hooked up a cheap scan tool that shows no engine codes have been stored, and I haven't seen it resurface again as I just drive at lower speeds nowadays to avoid it. It seems to only happen following a drive at or over 72 mph. What are your thoughts?
I would assume you have some type of computer problems because on that vehicle if the check engine light flashes that should never leave the memory of the vehicle and it should be easily accessible with any scan tool and if it doesn't show any codes odds are the computers starting to fail
