Hello Team Scotty Kilmer,
Hope you all are keeping well. 🙂
Writing this to enquire if it is advisable to get rid of the rack limiter from the front axle of any vehicle in order to dec the turning radius of the vehicle.
Considering the fact there's enough space between the tire and the inner components and aren't rubbing against each other.
I wonder if it is safe. It must have been put there for a reason in the first place.
Thanks and regards

I would advise you to think of ways to engineer things which were thought of long ago. What happens is that removing the stop or even making them shorter makes your vehicle try the PIVOT turn which the greater angle will scrub the tread instead of follow the turn. Basically if you go too fast you won't be turning but actually skidding and going forward. Pivot turns work if the vehicle is going very SLOW and also designed to turn in a short circle. Example are City Buses..they can do pivot turns because they need that to negotiate tight city turns. But for regular cars..it is not needed nor recommended.
No. it's limited to prevent things breaking
Leave it as the factory built it.
