Is it hard valve seals on a 2017 Kia Rio?

Have you ever changed the valve seals on a Kia Rio? I have a 2017 Kia Rio four cylinder with 138,000 miles on the odometer. I'm losing oil at an accelerated rate. There is no oil on the ground so I know it's an internal oil leak. Aside from valve seal is there anything else that I should change that would be causing this issue? Please respond with any help or suggestion or how to video as this is my everyday driver and it's getting worse by the day thank you

Valve seals should not be hard after just 4 years. It's more likely defective piston rings which a lot of Kia/Hyundai engines are known for.

Get rid of it while it’s still worth something! And never buy another Hyundai/Kia product again.

They start to fall apart post 100,000 miles and you now have a front row seat to this endless money pit experience.

Change the PCV valve and pray it helps. If not, you are looking at a very expensive engine rebuild which does not worth it.

I have a 2009 Kia Rio and it uses a little oil with no visible leaks as well.  I'm the second owner and have 99,999 miles on it.  My experience with this sub compact eco box car is, I drive it at top speed of about 65MPH and rarely run it for long periods of time above 75 MPH.  You have to be a bit gentle with these cars, they are cheap and can't take alot of abuse otherwise you will have problems.  I need to get rid of this car, you know Kia warranties 100K engine & tranny. I'm at the mileage where I will have problems.  Need a starter now.

Your piston rings are shot.  Engine rebuild time. $$$$$
