A Co Worker of mine for a while was driving his mothers 2006 Odyseey but things on it started going and after saving He bought a brand new Tundra Turbo. After 4,000 he was so disappointed in the truck. He didn’t like the ride at all. He traded it in for new Ram 2500 Hemi 6.4 and he loves it so much better and he can fit more people in it more comfortably. I did try talking him to a used Tundra with a V8 but didn’t want a used vehicle. Did he make a wise choice? I know the new Turbo Tundras had problems anyway.

Any vehicle is reliable if the maintenance is done, for some vehicles it could be more or less.
At the end of the day it's your opinion vs his money. If he's happy with it let the guy be.
