Is there anything I can do regarding the class action lawsuit against Nissan for the dim headlamps ?

I have a 2013 Nissan Altima which has a class action lawsuit for the headlamps.  They are reportedly too dim.  I agree and can not drive at night due to this issue.  It is now effecting my income because of the dangers of this.  It’s like I’m driving with no headlights at all or like using your fog lights to see.  This is unacceptable!  The replacement for the lamps have been on backorder since this past March!  And there is no answers to when they will be in stock.  I was told it’s going to lead into next year sometime before any become available !!  I was told to file a grievance against Nissan, go to the dealership and demand something be done ???!!  What can I do??  Is there any answers for this ??

If they just don't have the parts there's probably not much you can do other than install aftermarket replacements if available. That would be at your own expense though because the settlement requires that genuine Nissan parts sourced from an authorized dealer be used for free replacement or reimbursement.

Nothing I can do just isn’t a good answer for me! This is clearly not my fault but seems to be my problem So I will continue to look for more i options Nissan should be able to do something regarding this issue the only mistake I made was purchasing a Nissan period ! This never should have been an issue in the first place and the customers should not be punished for it

I understand that but sometimes due to circumstances things cannot be resolved to one's satisfaction. Unfortunately as a member of the class action you cannot pursue further action against Nissan or I'd say install the aftermarket lights and take them to small claims court for reimbursement. At least it's not a failed CVT that costs thousands of dollars.

If they're so dim that you can't drive after dark and it's costing you income then go on Amazon and order a set of aftermarket headlight assemblies.

Sure, you'll have to pay out of pocket, but around $200 to get you back on the road at night isn't all that much considering this problem is also affecting your income.

Yes. You can choose not to make the same mistake again. You can watch more Scotty videos (the car ones anyway).
