Hello, I have a 2011 jeep, with the 3.8l v6. On the driver side valve cover I have a hose going from the valve cover to the intake manifold, and this contains the PCV valve. On the passenger side valve cover, there is a smaller hose that goes from the valve cover to the filtered side of the air box. I was wondering if anybody knew if the passenger side hose is apart of the PCV system or something else? Thank you very much.

It is part of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation system.
It's the crankcase breather/vent hose.
