I have keyless entry/lock and start on my 2020 Accord 2.0T Sport and love it.

Walk up to the car and it unlocks when I grab the handle. Push button to start the car. Then when I get out, press on the top right of the handle and it locks. I never touch my fob at all. It's just convenient.

Keyless ignitions provide convenience for the driver (not worry about locking keys inside the car or fumbling for keys in your pocket/purse, and also allow for remote start so you can warm up the car while still locked and parked), generally more secure than old-fashioned key where number of combinations are a physical constraint, and for the automaker because there is less moving parts it is cheaper to produce.

ihave keyless that has a button to push to open door then push button on dash to start i think your reply is about remote key?

Keyless ignition systems come with a key fob that you can keep tucked away in your pocket/purse in close proximity to the receiver within the vehicle. The fob transmits a unique low-frequency signal to the car's computer system, which then validates that the correct signal has been sent and allows you to push a button on the dashboard or console to start the engine.

Some keyless ignitions also have keyless entry allowing you to enter the car without inserting a key or hitting a button on the fob. It seems you have keyless ignition but not keyless entry.

@daywalker
he has a button on the door to open it I believe that is the keyless entry where you can lock/unlock the car with the keyfob in your pocket.
