I just bought a 2021 Kia Sorento. The dealer wants me to buy an extended warranty that covers beyond the 5yr 60k mile warranty that comes from Kia. They tell all these horrors stories. If the ECM fails it's 4 thousand dollars. If CV joint fails it $1200. Struts are 2 grand and so on. And on and on. They want $4300.00 extra. Is it worth it?

They always do that just walk away. If you want an extended warranty you should get it later on don't bother with a 2021 model vehicle since you already have a warranty.
