Hey Scotty,
I found this article rather interesting about leasing a Nissan Leaf for 99 cents, but it can only happen if you have a 2020/2021 Nissan Titan XD truck.
So, you have to buy a slow selling gas-guzzler truck at full MSRP to get a cheap lease on an electric commuter car that they are having trouble selling.
Yeah, that isn't too good to be true, that's desperation to get Titans off the lot and off the dealer's floor plan loan.
lol the Japanese full-size trucks like the Titan and Tundra sell so slowly compared to Stellantis, GM, and Ford.
I'd buy a Titan long before I'd touch any GM truck. If I'm in the market and they're offering me an add-on that saves mileage on the truck and fuel expenses, that's a win-win for me. Maybe not if they won't negotiate the truck price. Would have to think on that.
Yea the tundra sells slow because it last longer
but the tundra is also pretty outdated, gets horrible gas mileage, and they don't ride very well being a truck from 2007.
the new 2022 tundra is going in the direction of the F150 with that twin-turbo v6, then a hybrid variant and maybe an EV variant.
In other words it will not have the long-term reliability of a normally-aspirated V8.
