Lexus ASL

Hi Scotty, love the channel. I have a question about my 2008 lexus rx350 with 202,000 miles, no codes on the scanner. Sometimes when I accelerate slowly, shifting from 2nd to 3rd is a little off. No clunking or grinding but the rpms fluctuate a little. It always shifts, but it doesn't do this all the time. I have read about lexus having ASL, aggressive shift logic but have never gotten a clear answer. This only happens when accelerating and not slowing down. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dom.

Odds are that the transmission is going out. It costs couple of thousand dollars to repair if this is the case. I would baby the car and drive it until the wheels fall off.

At 202k nothing is going to be perfect. Agree with Yaser!
