I have a 2004 Lexus GX 470 with 230k miles and LOVE THIS CAR. Lately, I have to put maybe 8oz of coolant in every 3 weeks but there are no visible leaks.
Is the head gasket leaking? Should I sell the car? If I do the timing belt, pump, and pulleys might that fix it (needs one now anyway)? Should I spend the money on the belt or get out now?
I would LOVE to keep this thing another 100k miles. It has no other issues and rides like a dream

The first thing I would do is change the Radiator Cap. I had the same problem with our ES350 and the Cap took care of the problem.

Check the water pump, around it for wet signs. Could be the weeping hole leaking that means a new pump is required.
If you're 100% sure there is no coolant leaking I would go to YouTube and check out Scotty's video on head gasket leaks. He has a simple, cheap way of testing the cooling system while it's running to determine if a head gasket has gone bad.
Check the head gasket situation with the Amazon product that Scotty recommended.
It is only 30 bucks but it gives you clear results.
