Hello Scotty,
I recently sold my 2015 Nissan Sentra and bought a 2014 Lexus ES 350. I DIY as much as possible. I wanted to know is it necessary to buy parts such as air and oil filters, brakes and rotors, spark plugs and coils, etc, just from Lexus dealerships or buying OEM parts from other stores works as well? Because dealerships gives the parts with a higher price; sometimes twice more expensive as others.
Thanks
Saeid
As long as you can match the dealers brands there should be no issue. (I.e. ngk spark plugs) you can do research about how fine the microns on each oil filter get. Air filters are the same way. Its not like Toyota made all of these parts themselves... they had to have some help right?
Find the OEM part numbers and buy them online. One more thing I’d you don’t need to but OEM for all the parts.
