Hi Scotty. I bought a Lexus 2001 is200 about two months ago. When driving any where between 30-40mph the cars rpm randomly drops from 1,800rmp to 1,200rpm then shoots straight back to 1,800rmp. all this happens within 2 seconds. It tend to happen once per drive or sometimes never, what can it be?
Lexus is200 in the uk
2.0L straight six 1GFE engine
full service history 102,000
timing belt done 2020
automatic transmission feels fine and doesn’t shake/slip
things I’ve done, new Bosch air filter, throttle body clean, redX petrol injector cleaner, vacuum leak check, wiring check.

MAF sensor, MAP sensor, PCV valve.

When was the last time you changed the spark plugs?
