Hey Scotty do you familiar with cold start rattle in Lexus IS250? Can it do any damage if I leave it like that? I saw people telling it is something with the VVT system. the noise is appearing only in cold startup for second or two
Clarification: Which model year and mileage?

If the noise goes away after couple of seconds, you can live with it for now.Try some oil cleaner and make sure you change the oil regularly with a synthetic one.
