Lexus problem

I have a 2000 Lexus 300RX AWD automatic with roughly 180,000 miles on it. Runs like a top and no codes. The problem I'm having when I mash the breaks unless I'm going slow it pops on the front end. sounds more on the passenger side to me. I took it to our Toyota dealership here in town and they said I would have to take it to the Lexus dealer a little over 100 miles away because with it being a Lexus they can't fix it. I cant see why its just a dressed up Toyota. Any ideas what would cause this? The car drives great going down the road and don't pull to either side even when hitting my breaks. I don't drive it much because I'm afraid to cause any damage driving it.

Check the front brake pads and rotors. Odds are you need new pads. If you can not install it, ask any mechanical shop to do it for you.

I have never heard of pads making a front end pop but I will try it. Thanks a lot!
