Hey Scott Kilmer Looking at 2000 Nissan Frontier with 103,000 miles ? Is the oil red dripping light stays on is that a reason not to get it? Seller says need a oil change that’s why it on

It can be as simple as the low oil or it can be more complicated like low oil pressure. I would walk away, if it was a simple low oil, then why the seller just did not add some oil?

you need real inspection if your serious about it, cars have tons of issues especially old ones -
