[Solved] Oil light stays on longer after oil change

2010 low mileage FJ Cruiser in great shape.  Brought to dealership for an oil change and coolant flush, now my oil light stays on longer than usual at start up.

No leaks...proper fill. Brought it back and the mechanic had no clue what the problem could be. Will be going in for a pressure test, I guess.

Anyone else ever run into this, and find a solution??

*I know I can/should be doing my own oil changes, but I'm up North, and it's still freezing out, lol*

A few more starts where the oil light was on for about 20 seconds had me worried. Brought back to Toyota, and was told the filter had collapsed "somehow" due to "faulty" housing, and that they replaced it.
I asked for documentation, (they seemed bummed) and they made me sit there another 45 mins.
Turns out a tech forgot to replace the center piece in the filter housing during installation!

The dealership screwed up. Danced around what the issue was, and even tried to act like I was getting a deal for not being charged for the fix. This is Wayne Toyota in Thunder Bay, ON, FYI.

Hoping no damage was done over a few days. This FJ was my fathers before he died, and my most prized possession. Mint shape w/ only 90000KM on it. Trying to take care of it. Looks like I will be doing my own work from now on.

Thanks for getting back to us with your update. Sorry to hear your dealership is so incompetent. Anytime someone other than you works on your car (including oil changes), check their work. I've done this for years and with the state of today's labor force.. it's a literal necessity.

Did they use the correct oil for your vehicle? Quality oil filter?

If a mechanic gauge verifies you have good oil pressure then I'd check the sending unit. The timing of an oil change and the oil pressure light malfunction might just be coincidental, if the dealership didn't screw something up.
